Exciting new position for a full-time ACFI Co-ordinator to work within our growing team at Coolibah.
Reporting to the Residential Facility Manager you will be responsible for the coordination and submission of the ACFI funding claims ensuring maximisation is appropriate to the resident's usual care needs.

Key Responsibilities of the Role
Support the customer service manager and facility manager to undertake ACFI predictions pre admission to facilitate appropriate admission to the facility Ensure documentation related to assessments is completed in a correct, timely and accurate manner following a defined process and appropriately documented and stored Audit and evaluate all ACFI assessments, submissions, downgrades, uplifts and the resulting implementation of care and ensure funding minimization and compliance Through effective leadership and collaboration with the clinical nurse manager take responsibility, supervise and oversee that clinical care is implemented as per the designated assessments to ensure residents needs are met in a timely manner and meet legislative, best practice, organisational standards and have a customer focus Act as a leader and the expert resource within the business in relation to ACFI and clinical care including provision of training as required Delivery of education to all key personnel and nursing staff in all facilities within the designated area in relation to ACFI The ACFI Coordinator will exercise an awareness of professional accountability under the law and professional practice Lead, identify, analyse and act upon audit and risks to ensure continuous quality improvement and risk mitigation strategies including occupational health and safety Ensure that all services are delivered in line with Coolibah's policies and procedures and actively review and improve these as identified with teams
Essential Selection Criteria for this role
Registered Nurse Division 1, with at least 5 years post graduate experience in clinical care AHPRA registration Contemporaneous knowledge on legislation pertaining to all aspects of clinical care and service delivery Previous experience in leadership and coordination of teams Previous experience in overseeing ACFI assessments and submissions of aged care funding and ACFI Previous experience in educating teams A good understanding and experience in the aged care standards and accreditation process
